great movie! natalie portman is FANTASTIC! story gets a bit confusing towards the end but still a great movie. 4 stars.
Predictable. Very one-sided story telling and lopsided characters. Makes a decent attempt to show things from a perspective we`re not used to (from the terrorist/freedom fighter`s view), but if you really want to see a good movie about fighting for individual rights and freedom watch Braveheart, not Vendetta. The scenario presented in V is too unrealistic.
It was great.
Amazing movie! I wasn`t really sure about this one. One trailer made it look kinda dumb, another made it look kinda cool. Boy am I glad I went to see it though. Simply awesome. Two thumbs up!
5 STARS. It`s a chilling view of what powerful governments are capable of. GO SEE IT. -G. Bush
Excellent. For those who complained about the use of `v` words in the beginning, it is called ALLITERATION. If you had read shakespeare or attended high school, you would understand. Two books with similar themes are George Orwell`s "1984" (where `Big Brother` came from) and "Animal Farm."
Very good acting by Hugo Weaving and Natalie Portman. Excellent writing for the character `V.` Many parallels can be drawn to what is taking place in the real world. I will definitely buy the dvd.
boring..... weird looking mask and i wonder if the guy is sweating inside!!! IT`S JUST BORRRRRRRRRRRRRRINGGGGGGGGGGGGG
V for Vendetta woke me up to the reality of the way things are moving towards being dictated what to do with our lives, ban this , ban that, you are going to be heathly whether you like it it not, this government we have in ontario are nothing but hypocrites, lyers, they don`t stick to anything they so call promise,it is scarey that a movie can show what we are heading for right here in Ontario!!
amazing movie - had action, humour, and a good storyline. go n c it
