I thought that this was a fantastically acted, beautifully filmed and one of the most imaginative films to come along in the past year. Considering that Hollywood seems to have lost all imagination and are hell bent on remaking any and every clasiic of the past 30 yeares, V for Vendetta is a breathe of fresh air. It is also nice to watch a film that does not assume that its audience is illiterate or brain dead. Beauftiful acting my a cast of mostly first rate English (aside from the Australian Hugo Weaving and American Natalie Portman) cast. A must see, but pay attention to the language.

I thought that the casting, acting and cinematography was fantastic. A really impressive cast of mostly first rate English actors. The main plot is probably one of the most imaginative in a long while, in a list of Hollywood films that lack any originality.

The mask worked so well at so many levels. I thought that the acting from behind the mask would be wooden, but the voice and the subtle changes they must have made to the masks had you feeling for the terrorist.

At halfway through 2006, it`s the best film of the year thus far, with an unheard of attribute for Hollywood movies. What might that be, you ask? Why, some serious ideas, of course. It reminds us that freedom is a revolutionary concept, something we ought to vigilantly safeguard.
