I think on the whole the film was very good, and the actors were especially good, I liked the way Brad Pitt tried not to bring in his american accent, after all they were europeans.I thought the english actors were exceptionall. I thought the fight scene between achilles and hector was very well done.

From the first 30 seconds into the movie I had a sinking feeling and it only got worse from there. Homer must be spinning in his grave right now. To call it a travesty might be the single greatest understatment ever known. They spent $175 million on this movie, you think they could have hired at least one Classicist or read one decent translation.

This movie was one of the best that I have seen in these past few weeks. I wouldn`t considor it one of my favourites but it is most definetly up there. Brad Pitt and Orlando Bloom were very good in the movie, along with the other characters who arem`t really talked about. It was mostly a realisitc film and did not get out of hand. Over all great movie.
