stellar cast brings this story to the people. heartwarming and funny at times it brings the watcher a belief in family love and loyalty. clint eastwood played his part with sincerity and conviction.
great movie...love clint eastwood!
enjoyed the vancouver screening on september 12th. good performances from the lead talent, and an interesting take on the sports film genre with the father/daughter reconnection dynamic. i'd recommend it to others. thanks.
the movie was a bit slow at times but seeing clint eastwood as a grumpy old man was entertaining. his arguments with his daughter together with his blurry vision can be transposed to real life where many can relate to. it is a nice movie for a friday nite.
although the show is predictable at times, the story of a disfunctional family relationship is one many could relate to. ce portrays a man fighting age but having to deal with it nonetheless. aa is caught between pursuing her own life and being the dutiful daughter. relatable story all around, two thumbs up!
a second chance awaits an over the hill loveabe grump in this one. clint flexes his comedic chops and retains his badass attitude once again.
the movie was touching and heartwarming. i recommended it to my sister as soon as i got home.
