enjoyed it. good cast. partly filmed in toronto.
it was good. not academy-award stuff, but entertaining. some good action/chase scenes (even if it was 99% cgi, which i often find tiresome in today's movies). i did notice kate beckinsale's character managed to remain fairly 'hot' despite all the running, bruises, and beatings throughout! not complaining though, ha ha! in comparison to the arnie movie from many years ago, i really didn't see a whole lot of similarities other than the movie title and the name of the company he goes to (rekall). other than that, it seemed to be it's own movie, which in my opinion is a good thing!
good
great movie. enjoyed it very much.
it was a good movie. above average.
just a blast. go see it and expect to be entertained.
very disappointing and definitely not as good as the original. there's no mars, no kuato, no benny, etc. quaid goes to work in a transporter that supposedly goes to the colonies (on earth, seems to be australia). so he works in the colonies? and he's building robots that look like a cross between i-robot and stormtroopers...i wouldn't spend money to see it even when it comes on dvd. rent the original or buy it. it's much better!
super excited for this show and how they can improve the original, wondering what they will think of. color me disappointed. i am not sure how many of you remember the original with arnold and sharon stone, but it was very well put together and exciting. this total recall was good but what is the point of jessica biel? she is supposed to compliment colin farrell (who did an excellent job btw) she was just there to be there. unfortunately this movie has to compete with the original so it was just a lot of action and there were no funny parts to keep it going. i got tired watching it and couldn’t wait for it to end. colin farrell did well. kate beckinsale is always a pleasure to watch. storyli
enjoyed the movie after seeing it last thursday evening in burnaby, b.c. ... plenty of action & effects, and decent storyline. i'd rate it a good 6.5 - 7 / 10.
i can't remember if i saw this.
