not as good as the original, but still good.
better than i expected, given the critics are panning it. my suggestion: read the reviews, go to it with low expectations, and you'll probably end up enjoying it. just too much chase-scene footage, but other than that, not bad. beckinsale plays a good villainess...i am convinced now she could pull off the lead role in a 'wonder woman' movie.
good action movie, not good as a remake though. collin farell's performance was average. only good thing is the eye candy kate and jessica.
really good movie.
lots of exciting action but very little depth to the acting.
an excellent action flick but lacks in plot or depthness of characters. if you want a great chase scenes or fight scenes, this is your movie. if you want more, this movie doesn't satisfy.
outstanding special effects! even better than transformers!
the movie, bares no resemblance to the source material! it is a bit disappointing and arrogant to imply the movie is a remake even though it differs on some of the great plot points that made the original a success. the plot is a hodge podge of well thought out science fiction and confusing expedience that breaks any concept of rationality. typical of a sony production, the storyline was dumbed down for the masses and so it is mildly appealing to many people, but greatly appreciated by no one.
waste of money and time, nothing really good about it
who ever made this comment pasted below... hit the nail right on the head, fully agree with it 100%. pros : great special effects with non-stop action. kate beckinsale is forever hot! love the scene where it shows the prostitute with three boobs just like the original. cons : if the story started off talking about mars and how space is the greatest resource, wish the storyline was more about it. the building up feels a little draggy when doug quaid was trying to remember about himself. overall, it's a great movie for adrenaline rush, special effects and beckinsale. but i feel the original storyline was more to the point and didn't drag as much.
