I read the book Running out of Time and although there are a couple of small similarities, the two stories and everything that happens within are totally different. I doubt the director of this read the book and even if he did, it`s just too different to compare the two.

This movie seems plagiarized from the book, Running Out Of Time, written by Margaret Haddix. I don`t think the plot was original, and yet, no credit was given by the director. Poor.

Great ending. Could have never imagined that it would be so different, not predictable at all.

The movie is for people with some intelligence, as it is a thought-provoking movie. It is not a movie for people who go to the threatre just to get scared! I loved it!

I guess I was disapointed because I expected something more chilling around the village, and I was WAY WRONG on the truth....But the more i think about it, the more I really like this movie.

It gives you something to think about, especially since there really are places like that in the U.S. where only a few of the twonspeople are aware of the outside world.

This movie is what a movie should be - a feast for the eyes, intelligent, thought provoking, beautifully acted (especailly the two young stars --they both GLOWED), and fascinating. It was scarey without being horrible and taught a lesson without being preachy. If you give it a chance you will be glad you did.
