I did not originally want to see this movie as I am not a big Ben Affleck fan but was presently surprised! Lots of action and great story!

I would say that this movie is Heat meets Point Break, but don't let that turn you off. It was really good. Ben Affleck proved his directing abilities and other than Blake Lively - I thought this movie was cast fantastically. I think that this was one of the best performances for Ben as an actor and HELLO Jon Hamm...you are a beautiful man!!!

The best Ben movie ever! Great story and acting! Love the Movie!

Excellent character driven movie, punctuated by some attention getting violent scenes. However, some of the thick Irish accents make it hard to understand during quiet moments and overlapping dialogue. Oscar buzz? Good probability. Good acting throughout by the entire cast. Well worth seeing.

First half of movie borrriinnng! Then some action occurs and you think its going to pick up. But it doesn't! The truth is saw the movie with 5 people and three of us thought it was a duplicate of an other movie. Interesting though that none of us agree to the movie that we thought it duplicated. I thought it was a bad version of Set It Off, and the two others thought this movie was a rip off of Heat and Point Break. Nonetheless this is more of a movie you watch if nothing else is on. Don't get the hype and definitely not a 5 star!! No matter what your taste. Those ppl. are just being generous

With The Town, Ben Affleck shows that he really is just that good at directing - he even knows how to get a solid perfomance out of himself. Between the clever heists and all the intrapersonal dynamics, Affleck has crafted another superb movie.
