Gripping, action packed tale with good acting.
Great story, lots of action.
Ben Affleck has revitalized his stagnent career by co-writing ,directing and starring in this sterling,gritty,action-packed crime drama.Of course, the very intense Jeremy Renner as his cohort in crime is just aces and so also is John Hamm ,the obsessed FBI agent(aren't they always?)intent upon stopping the gang. There is a stong sense of place, courtesy of the cinematographer which allows Charleston,Ma.to become a character. There is also a fairly plausable romance between Affleck and Rebecca Hall.As always this genre type is a morality play of sorts and the stunning climactic gun battle in the basement garage at Fenway Park is simply amazing. This is Academy Award material, people!
great and different history of love! You can't miss it!
Great action flick
Worth going to the theatre to see. Great cops and robbers movie!
Very much enjoyed it. Kudos to Affleck on his maturity in acting/directing over the years. Jeremy Renner was great in his role as well. Good change of pace for him. Definitely recommend this movie, and Ben's previous directing work in 2007's Gone Baby Gone (starring his brother Casey, as well as Morgan Freeman, Ed Harris, and more). Solid films, the both of them!
This was a pretty good movie. I'm usually not a big Ben fan but he was good in this. At times I found the dialogue a little mumbled and hard to understand. The action scenes were good and it had a good storyline.
great movie
The trailers on TV were good but that's it. It was a tedious love story with moments of action. Two thumbs down with this boring flick.
