I loved this movie. The setting - from France, to the train, to Venice - was breathtaking. The story line/plot was interesting (lots of action for the guys, nice romantic story for the ladies), and although I had already guessed the ending, it was still a pleasant surprise to know I was right. Johnny Depp deserves an award for his performance. I found Angelina Jolie to be a little stiff - appeared more to be playing herself than a character. I wish they had cast someone else in her role. Overall, well worth seeing in a theatre, instead of waiting for it to come out on video.

With the caliber of actors in this, you would think that it'd be pretty good. And the acting was...but the plot was slow and empty. There just isn't enough substance to it.

I thought there was going to be a lot more action. And the ending was super predictable.

So glad I watched this instead of 'How Do You Know'. The Tourist was very entertaining.

I enjoyed the movie. I loved Jolie`s clothing. However I felt that there could have been more in the movie. It seemed like it had been cut.

It's was weird seeing Johnny Depp play a non-eccentric, timid character. I think his character should have been played by a new up and comer or someone who has been out of the spotlight for a while, maybe a Josh Harnett or Eric Bana. The ending seemed somewhat out of place as if some relevant scenes were cut. I had heard reports that a sex scene was cut, that scene could probably have explain how Angelina's character fell in love Depp's character given the fact that they didn't spend enough time together on-screen nurturing a relationship. In all it was an entertaining movie that just felt somewhat lacking.
