A mess of a movie. You have to wonder if the screenwriter bothered to read Hunter S Thompson's book before sitting down to write this turd of a screenplay - not even Johnny Depp can salvage this movie.

A pretty flat movie that attempts to use class warfare to make the viewer care. Didn't work, Depp was given very little in this movie, and pathetic lines like, "You're high, you fool, drink more rum!" did not help things.
