Superbly acted and crafted. The Oscar bee is buzzing and though I think Colin Firth is a shoe in - Geoffrey Rush deserves a shout out for his stellar performance. A must see film.

Solid movie! Firth and Rush have incredible chemistry in their scenes, and Carter is great as the supportive wife. I couldn't believe how funny and intelligent this film was! The acting was flawless, the story entertaining and excellent direction. Definitely one of the best movies of the year!

The movie was great: the way that Lionel brought out the King's anger was well done. The scene in which the King and Queen go to Lionel's house for the King to have a session but Lionel does not tell his wife that the Queen will be having tea in her kitchen is priceless! I respect that Lionel has to keep patient confidentiality, but it was blown when his wife found out. Much too funny. The scene in which Lionel asks him if he even knows the 'F' word was very good as well. The movie is definitely worth seeing. I was fortunately able to get complimentary tickets for an early preview, but hope to see it again soon with some other friends who have not seen it. My parents loved it as wel

This is an excellent movie. It isn't often that you go to the theatre to see a movie and the whole theatre claps at the end of the picture but it happened with this movie. great performances by all. Colion Firth should win the Oscar for his performance.
