The Hundred-Foot Journey was an unexpected gem! The movie provided a nice balance of seriousness, humour and romance.
Very good story and very well performed. It is a heart-warming story of how fences come down and is very relevant in this day and age. The young man is excellent and Helen Mirren, what can I say but as usual, impressive. The only reservation is the setting of the restaurants. Without reading the book, the restaurants seem very remotely situated for people to go to. Thank you so much for the tickets and especially appreciate the gentleman coming up to ask someone to not use a cellphone.
Enjoyed this movie a lot. Lots of great moments and the story line was strong and entertaining. Just felt that it may have dragged at a few pats making a few scenes seems boring and unnecessary. But overall a enjoyable film.
When I first saw the trailer of the movie I thought it would be one of those movies which are made on the similar lines and there are a lot of movies like this but I was really surprised by the turn the movie took and it is an awesome movie. I would definitely recommend to everyone as it has a little I everything romance, comedy, drama and is different than the other movies.
The movie was awesome. I really enjoyed it.
The movie was an excellent experience for me and my wife. The scenery in France was just breathtaking. Great movie with just the right amount of favor.
Excellent, feel-good movie. Wonderful acting and beautiful scenery. A must see movie for everyone.
This is a lovely film for everyone, well acted, gentle and beautifully filmed. Helen Mirren is her usual treat and the rest of the cast is wonderful to watch.
