The Hitman’s Bodyguard is an action-filled movie that includes the car chases (albeit it in a old, tiny Ford) and hilarious repartee between two rivals working together again. Samuel L. Jackson still has it, although it wasn’t his usual type of movie. It was also great to see Salma Hayek back on the big screen. The story unfolded with outcomes we have all seen before and the plot is repetitive. Still, worth watching, if not just for the laughs and the soundtrack. It’s a no-brainer movie you can just sit back and enjoy, including the “paysage’ of London and the Hague.
Too much non-stop talking and bantering; "not to be taken too seriously"??; liked the use of flashbacks to fill in; the constant bickering between the two protagonists was over done.
Lots of action, good laughs, and a star studded cast! The perfect formula for a fun night out.
Amazingly Funny !+A+++
Good buddy movie. Not to be taken too seriously
Predictable, and the action was too much at some point.
Quite a ride with some action and jokes. Enjoy it.
Really funny from beginning to end! Great action and great cast!
This movie has a lot going for it. The action was incredible and the actors were both serious and funny enough to keep your attention throughout the movie. The scenery of the various countries was also very well captured. The plot was good and the story unfolded with various outcomes that were developed as the movie progressed. I would recommend this movie for those who like action and want to lose themselves in a good action film.
Super fun, enjoyed the chemistry between Ryan and Samuel but Selma was an unexpected surprise.
