Absolutely loved the movie, made me cry !
The Help is a great movie based on bestselling novel by Kathryn Stockett. Lots of great performances in this story of the relationships between priviledged white women and their hired black help. It takes place in Jackson, Mississippi during the 1960's when race issues were very much in the public spotlight.
Almost as good as the Novel. Very heart-warming story.
The beginning was confusing but as the story unfolded everything made more sense. It was upsetting to imagine such a cruel society. A great movie with an important historic message for minorities and in particular for women.
Really great movie! As a fan of the book i'm really happy at how true to the story it is and how well the characters came to life on screen. Definitely see this one!!
Did not portray the book at all.
