If I have had more excitement sitting in a hospital emergency waiting room for 5 hours to have a splinter removed out of my behind. Truly a SLEEPER!!!! If you can't take sleeping pills or aren't able to fall asleep after downing a gallon of alcohol...this would work. PLEASSSSSSSSSSSSEEEE...if you are even slightly tempted to see this movie...WAIT TO RENT IT.

In spite of having an interesting concept and being packed with disturbing scenes, this movie didn't work for me. It's one of those movies that you give the benefit of the doubt and expect it to get better, but it just leaves you dissapointed. I've always thought that Mark Walberg was an OK actor, never giving us a remarkable performance, but this is downright comical and not in a good way. I think you could have picked any one of the dim-wits from the "The "Hills" and they would have given an equal performance. Now I realize why I haven't seen him doing any press for the film. It's one that he'll want to erase from his resume.

If you think grass blowing in the breeze is scary, this is the movie for you! We walked-out. If I had to guess, the budget for this movie would be about $20.05 (5 cents for some stuffed dummies they tossed - off a roof).

I would give it 0 stars if I could. I can not recall any big screen movie as bad as this one. And I feel really bad saying this because I love Shyamalan's movies... but here, the acting was bad, the dialogues even worse. The plot was boring and most of the actions dumb and not understandable (e.g. having the windows open all the time even if they know about the toxins...??)

I don't know why everyone is so upset about this movie...sure it's not a Spielberg action packed thrill-ride, but it's very original. I guess I'm the only one sick of all the CGI effects that Hollywood is pumping out at us!!!

The few bright spots could not make up for the overall bad acting (with the exception of Walberg) and even worse script.

I have to agree with over 50% of the people here. The entire theatre walked out feeling extremely dissapointed watching this movie. It's probably M Night's worst film and rather than be entertaining or trying to make you think, it basically just leaves most with a generally disturbed feeling, a bad taste in your mouth and $20 poorer for your time. If you truly do want to see this movie, wait for it on video, at least you'll only throw away $6 of your money.
