I got hooked on the book series after my mom told me about them. I have finished all three books and the movies do not disappoint. I think people's expectations are too high for the movies. Steig's books are so complex they must stick to one core story line from the book or we'd be sitting in the theatre for 6 hours! I saw this on opening night and plan to buy all the DVDs upon release along with seeing the American versions of teh films. So addictive!
A great sequel...really good action movie. And not something that you have to read the books for.
A movie that lives up to the hype
Good story, acting and an all around good movie.
The Girl Who Played with Fire' is a second part of "Millennium" trilogy and a sequel to 'The Girl with the Dragon Tattoo', and it's released in the same year as original, which is kind of strange if you ask me, because we are talking about two movies here and not two episodes of some mini-series. Anyway, my expectations were pretty high as i expected this sequel to be just as good as the original was. Unfortunately, that didn't really happen, original remains "untouched" in terms of script, acting and quality in general as this sequel falls short, unable to accomplish those things on the same level.
Reminds me of the Alfred Hitchcock crime thriller
This movie is just as incredible as the first one
Good movie though sometimes felt like watching a TV movie. Naomie Rapace is outstanding.
Excellent!
