I enjoyed the boxing action at Caesars Palace in Las Vegas, a place I've been to many times. The action was good in Atlantic City and London, England too. The five sisters of the two boxers, including Dicky, were annoying in an entertaining way.
Could have been a lot better... Christian Bale looked horrible in this movie, and he's a handsome guy, but not in this movie he's not..
Very interesting movie about 2 brothers and boxing. My friend had also just trained with micky and his brother recently so it made it even better. 4/5
best choice of cast members. They got it right on the money.Great movie, great story and great actors all in one
I really enjoyed this movie and loved all of the relationships portrayed. Christian Bale steals the show.
I love the whole underdog feel of this movie. It made me want to jump out of my seat and cheer Mickey on!
Christian Bale was amazing in this movie, very convincing. Should win best actor for this one...Well made movie
Well written!
Mark whalberg is astounding in this movie as he portrays Mickey Ward. After always being the guy who everyone else uses as a "stepping stone" he finally gets his shot. The film is one of those feel good stories where, even though he is going through adversity within his family, he still pushes through. Whalberg shows great charisma and it kept me glued to the screen. Christian Bale who plays Mickey's older brother and holds his claim to fame for knocking down Sugar ray Lenord, is his trainer and helps with his career. Bale's in depth acting of Dickey was quite eerie, He felt like he really did belong to that character. He made it his own and I for one, enjoyed his on screen display of
Christian Bale puts in an outstanding performance.
