I keep hearing "It`s just a fictional story" ~ yes, but it`s too bad the world has turned its back on the factual parts. Those are the best stories, the ones with fictional characters that work with the historical facts but of course, the Catholic Church doesn`t want you to know the facts, do they?

It`s a good movie and a good play, as usual, of Tom Hanks

Loved it but I would have had more of the book in the movie.

Even though I didn`t agree with the Movie Theologically it`s theological issues. However it was still a good Movie just as long as you consider it a fictional story. The main characters did do a good Job on playing their roles though

I thought it was true to the book. I especially liked the explaination of "The Last Supper". I was so happy the I didn`t listen to the critics...I went twice to see it!!!

I would have chosen a different actor to play the lead, someone like Harrison Ford who would have been more suited for the role. Tom Hanks just didn`t do it for me. As well, it was confusing for anyone who had not read the book in advance, to follow the storyline. However, I did like the fact that the French actors actually spoke French. It made the scenes more plausible and believable that we were seeing a show which actually took place in France.
