Tom Hanks was the wrong choice due to his limited expressions. The book emphasized the art especially in the Louvre but that was simply glossed over in the movie. Too many cliche moments that could have been rewritten a little better.

The story was intreging & plausible but I found Tom Hanks performance lacking

It`s quite truthful to the book and well done...I don`t know why all the bad rep!

Not a bad film, not the masterpiece hyped to be. Definitely a DVD rental, not a big screen event.

Good movie! Tom Hanks, Audrey Tatou were great in it! It was pretty faithful to the book.

It was a good story but I found it to be a little anti-climactic. I hadn`t read the book , but knew enough going in to follow the plot through it twist and turns. My only real problem, other than the unnecessary hype, was Tom Hanks; I spent most of the movie waiting for punch lines. Tom is a great and talented actor, but did he just did not fit the role. It should have gone to an unknown or upcoming actor.

I thought that the movie followed the book quite closely. Both my husband and I enjoyed the movie and felt it was very well done.
