Not as past paced and action filled as the book Very good interpretation of the written work Romance between main characters could have been portrayed much better Mot a film to sit and watch--oone has to actively participate at a cerebral level to fully enjoy!

It was nothing special to write home about. The book is by far the better of the two and worth the money you pay for a book. Wait for it to come out on video. I don`t know why everyone is getting upset about it. It is only a movie. Fiction people, not fact. A story about a great treasure hunt. Now stop all the fuss.

It was very slow and not nearly as good as I thought it would be. The book was 100 times better!

If you`d never read the book,it would be the greatest film ever made.sadly, when compared to the book,it pales in comparison.

You need to read the book first to appreciate the film.

I like the movie very much but found some bits confusing.

It was a GOOD movie. It`s best to have read the book before seeing the film. I thought all the actors where well chosen for the film (expecially for the role of Silas).

Quite true with the book. Well rendered. The images and the lighting were supporting the intrigue. I liked it as much as the book.
