The movie had interesting story but always seems to leave you asking questions who is this and where is this all going. Nothing did come to giving you final answers

I feel like I should have learned something from "The Counselor". It contains far more dialogue than the trailers are letting on and most of that dialogue is smart, sharp, and purposeful. So, I find myself asking, why have I been left so intellectually blank? I think it might be because in just a single viewing, "The Counselor" is too much. Its plot is basic enough even without any real exposition, and what little of that there is drowns in this insightful dialogue about the human condition -- except that's all over the place, meaning you have to focus and take in too many points. Was not impressed. I really hoped that considering the actors in this movie and all the hype that it would be good. Had a difficult time hearing all the lines. There was a lot of stuff that just did not make sense. Would not suggest anyone see this movie

If I could have rated it 0 stars I would have - what a piece of garbage! I fell asleep twice and could not wait for it to be over. DO NOT WASTE YOUR MONEY - I feel like I was robbed of $19.25

Not what I expected from such a great cast. The movie is slow with too many speeches and life lessons. A slow movie usually picks up with action or a great conclusion but this movie didn't.

Terrible - a big disappointment. It was like sitting in a nightmare - I couldn't wait for it to be over and hope no one I knew saw me watching such crap. Indiscernible plot, characters that are bizarre with little or no connection to each other let alone themselves. Don't bother - even watching on DVD is a waste of time.

While the storyline is thought provoking in a sense that sometimes, the quickest solution to something is not the best solution. In terms of the movie experience itself, I left wishing a movie with such a high profile lineup of actors provided a better and less confusing plot. Everyone in the theatre left looking at each other like 'wtf'. Should have waited for video.

With an all -star cast of actors and actresses, and a icon director in Mr .Scott, this movie has no imagination nor original story line, other than promoting the that men and women are motivated by self - interest......, we know this. its too bad all this talent was used to produce a film that to this writer has no substance or true storyline.
