I gave it 3 stars because it was fairly done but too juvenile for me.

This is possibly the best family movie of the year. Meaning, it should appeal to everyone. This is a far better movie than "Harry Potter: Goblet of fire" and should not be missed by anyone, especially those who`ve read the book. The kids are great, the special effects are as good as those in the Lord of the rings trilogy and the story is amazing. So if you are looking for great thrills for the family or yourself, don`t miss it.

The book was more intended for Children, because of the way it was written, so the movie would be more enjoyed by younger ages or people who still believe in magic and childhood stories. The books were all amazing, and the movie basically had eveything that was in the book. The beginning was kind of long, but it was exactly what happened in the book, the director did a great job of not leaving very much out. The movie was done a way that all ages can enjoy it, but I

A violent, vicious piece of trash that no child should view. A victory of computer animation over good taste and common sense.
