excellent pace, cast, and direction. lovely to watch and one does not need to have seen other bourne movies to enjoy it.
the bourne legacy has sullied the good name of the bourne legacy. jeremy renner brings a certain intensity to the role but it is a cold intensity. i get more warmth out ed norton's 'bad guy' character. it's hard to identify with a hero who is apparently only out to get drugs. tony gilroy might as well have hung a painting on rachel weisz for all the emotion he gets out of her. a shame, that. it's all kind of disappointing. from the trailers i was expecting some really good action scenes like i haven't seen in years but gilroy focuses too much on that closeup cutting camera work that is supposed to make you feel in it. it doesn't. panning makes you feel in it. choppy camera work makes you f
