This new take on the Dark Knight is refreshing and breathtaking, no movie is without its flaws so understand the holes in the story plot and the lack of Bruce Wayne, but when it came to the cinematography, action, riddles etc. It captures what the fans truly love about Batman.
moves from scene to scene fast--characters are real not cartoonish Wish batman and catwoman had sex scene.
Amazing. People who don't like this movie obviously dont understand the art of filmaking and story telling. Batman is Dark, and also shows how he is the world's greatest detective. Most people dont understand this. I think the movie was great. Looking forward to the next sequels
loved it
This is a dark Batman and the picture is a bit grim. They made Batman a more disturbed super hero. The story line is good. A cartoon but not the Batman we grew up with. Even has a bit of love interest although never developed. Held my interest. New facts emerge about the life and times of a Batman. Try it, why it’s only got 2 stars here is a mystery to me..
While Pattinson fails to make much of an impression in the title role, it's the Rogues Gallery of Villains that have always determined the success or failure of any BATMAN feature, and Colin Farrell's Penguin is the movie's true trump card; his slippery crime lord harkens back to DeVito's inventive take on the character and then some. Likewise, Kravitz's sexy Catwoman proves a worthy successor to Halle Berry's iconic and unforgettable turn in the cat suit. Even Paul Dano's Riddler approaches the madcap menace of Frank Gorshin's legendary and definitive Prince of Puzzlers. It's unfortunate, then, that Batman himself is such a disappointment this time, as all the other pieces were in place for something special.
Seemed more like reality and not cartoonish.
There were times it felt like a tv-movie. C-
Was not sure what to expect after reading some of the Reviews and that non sense little 2.45 / 5. The Movie was well done and they did keep my attention until the end, The rating should be at least a 4 / 5.
What's with all the Nirvana references? Any goodwill I had towards this movie was quickly quashed by the ever-present drone of the film's pop soundtrack. Earplugs are a must if you absolutely have to see this at the theatre.
