Amazing movie,very informative,really opens peoples eyes.For those of you who have no idea of what actually could be going on the world.Have yo watch it twice perhaps to understand it properly.

Syriana was a gripping tale from the outset. Intellectually dense and action packed despite only including three actual explosions. It succeeds at explaining some very complicated political and cultural issues without being either boring or preachy. It is a daring expose of western corporate and governmental collusion in the abuse of a struggling region. Food for thought.

Insightful, and well crafted. Thoughtfully explores the dynamics of our oil based economy and its effects through the eyes of individuals with differing social amd economic interests. Too bad the director didn`t do justice to the Emir, painting him as a dupe of the US because he saw beyond economics to how nations use their economic power to mould the world in their own political image. The idea that the US "wins" economically based on corruption and force while other nations - such as the Chinese - play by the rules was a bit of a stretch for those who are grounded in world history and recognise that although the US has not always played by
