To be fair, the movie has excellent acting, production values, plot twists, and a strong tension line - once our hero commits a series of felonies with his friend's little girl (along). At that point, for me, the movie went flat; the little girl totally trusted her father-like bodyguard; he in turn brought her into a crime (that she should not be part of) and violated the trust of the little girl's mother. The controversy with the young woman whose story (the screenplay may or may not be based on) did not help the roll-out of this supposedly high-end movie. Oh well. The last part of Act III turned me off; the rest of the movie was solid.
Family dynamics were disturbing, but an interesting storyline, like right out of the news a few years ago!
Just what we need right now is another political movie where America gets trashed. I’m sick of all the political Sh**, but apparently Matt is part of this.
Matt Damon movies are always worth watching. There is a reason he wins Oscars. I think that anyone with at least a bit of empathy in them will appreciate this show.
I'm sick and tired of political movies - if Matt hates America so much - why doesn't he move to Cuba. The movie was just boring and so not worth the movie to see the director take America down.
TRUE STORY WITH MUCH MORE THAN THE MEDIA GAVE US. ACTING WAS VERY GOOD, A BIT SAD IN PARTS, MAT DAMON DID A GOOD JOB . DEEP WITH EMOTIONS FOR ANYONE FIGHTING FOR THEIR KID.
Far left movie. Made sure Trump was mentioned. The daughter is a lesbian. Damon made sure he was a oil rig person who did not seem educated. Will never watch another movie of his. Disappointing at the least!!!
