Look... I`m not the type of person who doesn`t like to think about her movies. I`m not the type of person who can`t deal with different perceptions of reality. I am the type of person who expects the movie that I watch to have some sort of effect on me. I kept waiting and waiting for this movie to do something... but it didn`t. It didn`t make me think. It didn`t make me wonder. In all actuallity it just made me go... Oooooo... pretty transitions between scenes, and groovy effects on the bridge at the end. That`s it. Please, don`t waste your time. I have a feeling that the people who really "enjoyed" this movie really didn`t but are too ashame
this movie is boring
It made you think, is that so hard? And I wish people would get a better line than "stay away." It really wasn`t THAT hard. I mean sure it was very deep with a lot of symbolism but does that automatically mean it`s too hard to follow? No. I guess some people don`t like to use thier brain when they go see a movie. Anyways, the acting was excellent and it was thought provoking and interesting to interpret.
I found this movie to be annoying and full of story holes as well. Although, the acting was very good, the directing and plot were horrid. There were a few good compositing shots, but a ton of unnessasary cuts and camera angles.
I didn`t "get it". Many of the people in the theater didn`t understand it either. Scary? Non-sensecial more like it.
STAY IS BRILLIANT!
Movies are supposed to entertain! Stay was not entertaining, it was confusing and frustrating. Not recommended for the casual movie go-er.
it has no meaning!
It`s to much to think about...i can`t even write it down. My mind is goign a mile a minute. But all in all I thought it was an excellent movie. The cinematography was phenomenal.
After watching this movie, I stood up, turned around to the remaining audience and said "does anybody know what just happened?" -- how anyone can call this the greatest movie they have even is truly beyond me. There are too many deadends and unanswered questions in this movie. What is up with all the triplets which the main character was even unaware of; how can a dead dog cause a bite wound; why did Lila run down the stairs after undergoing some "realization" only to end up at a locked gate ending in a close up, then on to the next unrelated scene; it goes on and on. Confusing. "Stay" is for "stay away".
