Because his fight scenes required fancy foot work, Samuel L. Jackson took dancing lessons and watched a lot of Japanese samurai films. But it was all worth it when George Lucas finally agreed to Jackson`s special request - to let his character, Mace Windu, have a purple lightsaber shaft.
