Brilliant...going to see it for the third time tonight..and i have never done that for any film before...:}
Fantastic..will do to watch it again ..
Special effects and action themes are strong in this movie but the 3D focus means that everyone is always leaping off something into something else. After a while, it is a cliche. There are some funny sub themes. All officers on the enterprise are under the age of 23. All female crew members have skin tight uniforms and mini skirts. There must be a textile shortage at Star Fleet. They did hint at the underlying long term goal of the Federation is to have James T. Kirk mate with every alien life species until every species in the universe is part human.
bruuuuuuuuuuuuuutal. Who green lights this garbage??
wow! great movie! better then the first one. Good action, good acting, great CG and story! Impressed!
AWESOME...AWESOME...AWESOME...this is even better than the first movie..and i love the peralles to the orginal movies... good movie some of the best 3d o have seen to.. well worth it..
much better than anticipated....Pine is awesome as captain kirk.
I'd give it 4.5 stars if one could rate it half-way between excellent and "perfect". Great FX and lots of good action, and the actors were clearly having a good time (in a good way, not in a 'poor acting' kind of way). Only complaint: although I loved the original Star Trek TV series and every 2nd Star Trek movie (ie. with the original cast), there were just way too many references to the TV series and early movies. Still, go see it!!
Much better than the sorry excuse for a movie called iron man 3.
If you were faced with the choice between Iron Man and Star Trek, take Star Trek...much better storyline and villain
