The media is trying to shut this movie down as “conspiracy” yet it’s a true story with real events and was in the possession of Disney for FIVE years before they were finally able to release it.
This movie cost $14 million vs. $300 million for Indiana Jones movie, and every thing about Sound of Freedom is topnotch. Gripping story line that keeps you in suspense, but doesn't show anything graphic about sexual trafficking of children. This serious subject matter is handled very gracefully in this PG movie. It is actually a very uplifting movie that left me feeling hopeful that people can do something to drastically reduce sexual trafficking of children and adults. Every single actor is amazing, including the kids. The lighting and cinematography is outstanding, often beautiful, very atmospheric. The music is compelling, and the message is important. Wish they would make more movies like this. I am going to see this one again.
I liked everything from the message to the acting, the music...
Bravery and courage was given to a great man who was called to this mission that saved our innocent children
The story line was disturbing but needed to be told. The actors all played their parts well. Drew me in as though they were the actual people that did these things. Jim Caviezel was amazing as usual. Love him as an actor and a human being. All adults should see this movie. Hug your children and keep them close.
Very well acted movie that depicts the truth about the horrors of human trafficking. Finally a movie in theatres that is worth the money to see.
if you have children, if you want children, if you ever were a child....you need to see this.
The realistic portrayal of Tim Ballard by Jim Caviezel - his amazing courage, compassion and heroic dedication, risking his life to save the vulnerable, innocent children, victimized and destroyed by disgusting, evil beings who don’t deserve to belong to the human race. Everyone should make the effort to see this film and to work together to annihilate the abuse and slavery of innocent children once and for all.
Very hard hitting movie. Evil wins when good men and women do nothing. I hope everyone that sees this film will come to and understanding that there is evil in the world even on home turf that needs to be dealt with and that it is up to us as good citizens to do something and be vigilant. We can't rely on the government to help because most of them are involved in evil deeds.
I'll never forget this movie till the rest of my life. It is a true story not just based on a true story. It takes you into the world of children who are captured in slavery of sex trafficking. But there is a hero who is full of compassion and love to rescue as many of them as he can. There is hope that when people watch the movie, they would be moved into action to find a way to stand for the lives of these innocent souls.
