surprisingly strong effort that provides a nice modern interpretation on the old fairy tale. charlize theron is gorgeous and wonderful as the villainous blonde queen, liam hemsworth is dashing and heroic as the young huntsman, and even kristen stewart's lack of range and typical vanilla acting doesn't overshadow the film with her banality. decently choreographed action sequences and the take on the dwarves was original. would have liked to have seen twenty minutes shaved off of this as it tends to drag at times, and snow white's escape is handled sloppily, but nonetheless a surprisingly decent entry in the summer film series.
it was pretty good, much better than "mirror mirror" also realased at the same time.
this was much better than mirror mirror.
a interesting twist to the original story. i wouldve enjoyed it a lot more if it wasnt for kristen stewarts monotonic twilight acting.
excellent visuals and acting, couldn't have asked for a better line up. such a classic!
we enjoyed it very much.
a bit too slow.
bad movie. visually appealing, but not entertaining. and tell me in what universe is kirsten stewart more attractive than charlise theron
i recently went to see it with one of my friends and we loved it alot. it was awesome. i would definetly put it up for oscars it was that good.
would have been better if julia was snow white instead of the wicked queen.
