Fun and nice to see the fashions, but rather silly. Light summer fare.
Good addition to the franchise, maybe not as good or believable as the first movi, but for true SATC fans like myself it was a marvelous 2 and a half hour fantasy escape.
Very disappointing! The writing was terrible. The great thing about the series was that you could identify with the SATC girls. In this movie they were put into stupid, unrealistic slapstick situations. Samantha's action were particularly stupid and offensive ...
A nice heart-warming and often funny movie. Good date movie.
I have to say I preferred the first movie and the ladies have changed and grown, but it felt like it didn't quite ring true with who they are and were. Just my feelings on it.
4...but I would give the 1st movie a 5. This one didnt out do the first but is still a must see for a girls night out! So much fun and so much expensive stuff to look at
Samantha's character was OTT, the whole Carrie story line was just silly, and the cultural insensitivity was rampant...but these characters are amazing and I'd see it again. I hope there's a (better!) next installment!
I'm a huge fan of SatC, but I'm sad to say that SatC2 wasn't up to the hype. The ladies were not themselves and I missed NYC!
My friends and I went out for supper and then went to see Sex and The City2. We found it enjoyable and at times very funny. However, most of us felt it was not as good as the first movie. I believe sometimes it is best not to compare sequels to the original movie. Personnally, I found it had some interesting ideas when it came to marriage and it also showed the difference between different cultures and what is or is not acceptable.
Can't wait to see this movie
