I agree with other comments about releasing such a sad/difficult movie just before Christmas - it certainly didn't leave me with a happy joyful feeling ... BUT, I still loved it. I know others complain about being confused for the first third of the movie, but I like that - I like not being able to figure out what comes next. I hate being spoon fed the plot. This movie kept me guessing all the way to the end, and I thought Will Smith's performance was fantastic. Not a feel good movie, but definitely moving ... I would recommend it.

One of the most powerful movies I have ever seen. Will Smith is fabulous and even though the ending is predictable, this movie tugged at everyone's heartstrings. Kind of restores your faith in humanity somewhat and makes you think about helping others rather than always thinking about yourself!! BRAVO!!! Bring kleenex with you, there wasn't a dry eye in the theatre when the movie ended.

Went to see this movie because of Will Smith, and proved to be an alright movie. To have this movie come out for the Christmas season is in poor taste. It is a known fact that the Christmas season shows the highest rate of suicide among depressed people. To have such a huge actor stand behind a movie that glorifies suicide that comes out for the Christmas season is terrible. For what ever it's worth, I'm sure it makes no difference to him; but I am no longer a fan of Will Smith.

The stars are for Rosario Dawson. My husband put his MP3 player on 20 minutes in. Turn around really quickly so that you are confused for an hour, then read the end of your book so that you know what's coming for the next hour and then see if you can get more emotion in your face than Will Smith. Maybe the jellyfish will get a best supporting oscar. Miss this movie, don't even rent it - you'll be asleep before you see the end.
