Self/less looks at what might happen when technology enables us to 'shed' old, dying bodies for new ones. Without giving too much away, Ryan Reynolds is convincing in a dual role, and there's enough action -- including a grinding car chase -- to satisfy everyone. Well cast, acted, and directed, Self/less is worth seeing!
Great performance by both actors! There were a few twists to the story but it was a pretty predictable conclusion for the movie. It's one of the better movies released this summer, as other more-hyped movies only turned out to be average. Overall, we enjoyed Self/less.
it caught my attention and kept it! A summer movie to add to your must see list!
I enjoyed the movie. Ben Kingsley was great. It has some surprising twists and turns. I would recommend it.
There was a lot of potential here with what it means to be given a second chance in life, but these never get explored. Ryan Reynolds is always a pleasure to watch and there are some humorous moments in the film. There are some thrilling sequences but nothing that will send chills.
The movie was awesome. I liked the premise, and the hidden secret about the bodies, and the twist at the end was great. Ryan Reynolds was great, and Sir Ben Kingsley is always a pleasure to watch, and Victor Garber was great.
very predictable, could figure out major plot lines within 10 minutes of movie starting. that being said, likeability of the lead character does help it somewhat, even though there are many familiar plot devices used. some of the action sequences are fun, just not believable.
Really enjoyed the beginning, middle not as much loved the end. Not the worst that has been out lately. Good if you want to be believe people can still be human and kind.
The story was a bit predictable but enjoyable nonetheless – good summer fare.
Self/less was great! The cast was great and the twists and turns were pulled off really well. This was a great movie to get sucked into.
