anyone that gave this a one had no appreciation of the original trilogy or never even saw the movie. An excellent movie that ties in perfectly with original trilogy. Best one since Empire strikes back.
I really wanted to like this one, but I couldn't get past the CGI Tarkin. As bad-acting and bad scripts have seemingly become an accepted flaw of Star Wars movies, the good acting moments such as Peter Cushing's Grand Moff Tarkin from Episode IV are treasured rarities to the Star Wars fan. Perhaps director, Gareth Edwards thought it would be clever to bring a CGI Tarkin into the movie. However I can think of a dozen real-life actors that could have pulled it off with fitting tribute to the late Peter Cushing, Charles Dance, Ralph Fiennes, Micheal Fassbender, heck, even Jared Leto .. Why not?
when will this all just stop??? :(
A fantastic Star Wars film. Beautifully shot. Amazing production design. Overall visually stunning. Great story.
I am a big Star Wars episode IV fan, the rest of the series I don't care for. This movie puts episode IV into a new perspective as it tells the story from the opening crawl. Who were they that stole the plans to the death star? This movie fills in that question perfectly and seamlessly.
I enjoyed this movie a lot. Very well done. Thought it was a cool twist on an already awesome franchise. Go see for yourself. Don't take my word or anyone else's.??
Great movie. Way better than Force Awakens and Episodes 1 to 3 (NO Jar-Jar this time). The people that rate this movie so low are not real Star Wars fans. The characters are interesting and does a nice job connecting it to Episode IV - A New Hope. Great job - Gareth Edwards and cast/crew.
This is definitely different in a great way than other StarWars movies
don't listen to the people giving it a low rating, I think their just mad because it doesn't have the same formula as the original trilogy does, instead u have new film like force awakens and rogue one giving it a different feel even if J.J. Abrams says he was playing it safe, was their flaws in this one like the other one of course but both are far from being awful movies and I think u would have to see it for your self to give your onion, for me I thought it was good and pretty much a different feel as that what the director was trying to do, for me I didn't like the being as I thought it was choppy and didn't like the font they used for rouge one, but hey that just me
It was pure b.s. from beginning to end. the force is not with this one.
