This movie is fine for a childs movie. But if compared to the book "Steel" it was based on, it has nothing in common. Steel was the story of a man who owns a fighting robot and competes with it to save his family. He doesnt have much and ends up wearing it as armor and competing against the robots himself to help his family and make enough to fix the robot. This move should have been called "Rock ;em Sock 'em Robots". Its a fine movie, for kids. The music is, well, "feel happy here", "feel sad here" music. Sad;y the scores are unoriginal.
This film was refreshingly good. I nice twist on the the typical Disney formula. Who doesn't love giant fighting robots with a dash of estranged father reunites with son. Golden!
great movie for kid and adult.... very entertaining
What a great movie, Hugh Jackson brings it as a former boxer who now puts his knowledge and skill into rockemsockem robots and champions an underdog Adam for the fight of its life.
Just loved the movie....excellent
A feel good movie that gets you cheering for the underdog. Great special effects.
excellent fast moving movie. Highly recommended
I thought this film was going to be lame but it actually turned out to be pretty good. It had a low budget/indie flick feel but never the less, I was engaged and entertained. I think it is both a good family film that can entertain the grown ups easily.
Surprisingly good! The robots were cool-looking and it was a good family movie. I enjoyed the acting by Dakota Goyo. Canadian connections in this movie with Goyo, Levy and Lilly!
Hugh is Awsome
