Exciting - loved the action and humour.

Really great movie; Jake Gyllenhall was awesome in this and the effects were pretty good too.

Alfred Molina's character was funny! The PoP: Sands of Time videogame has a much more engaging story. Rent on DVD.

Prince of Persia is a sub-par summer blockbuster. This movie adaptation was weak as it contained poor actors and storyline. This film just didn't live up to the hype. The story was very dull at times and the action sequences just didn't cut it. 2 stars for Sands of Time

anyone can be an action star eh?

User rating: July 14, 2010

The action sequences were the movie. Overall, it would have received a better rating if the male star had been someone other than who they picked to play the part.

not as exciting as I thought it would be - boring at times

Totally amazing delight for the eyes. Very cool action scenes. And a little romance for the ladies. Very entertaining.

This lavishly mounted actioner does not fail to entertain. The standout feature is the fine photography of John Seale(The English Patient). He must love sand-dunes! Gyllenhaal as Prince Dustan is a tad misscast. His facial features (the puppy dog eyes) are not that of an action hero. however, he is suitably laid-back and appears to enjoy his prowess in the art of parkour. Gemma Arterton provides wonderful eye-candy and Alfred Molina is a hoot as a good natured con artist and ostrich racing kingpin! All in all fun but forgettable. It's nice to walk into an action movie that is mercifully without the usual gory violence and f-bombs!
