VERY POOR Film! This was the worst Spielberg yet. It makes War of the Worlds look good if that is possible. Painfully slow and very disjointed, Spielberg has somehow made the Israeli Mossad, the best trained special ops organization in the world look weak and bumbling. Schindlers List…..this is not nor is it even close. I am officially off the Spielberg bandwagon.

IF you have three hours to experience how savage some things were in the seventies, this is the movie for you. Steven Spielberg, who many years from now will be memorialized as the documentarian of the Jewish struggle in the twentieth century (never mind the twenty-third century!), has cut another lengthy movie that demonstrates how fanaticism justifies its own existence by masquerading as the struggle for survival. It was easy for me to believe SpielbergÕs interpretation of how horrible it was for those who lost their lives at the hands of their executioners, but it was not at all easy to watch. First of all, it`s a very, very well made movie. And it is a story of human tragedy and the tragedy of severe conflict. Steven Spielberg and all the actors (especially Bana) did an amazing job of portraying the deep conflict that people find themselves in when they don`t know how to respond to a tragic situation and end up choosing violence. This is a movie with an anti-violence, pro-peace message and it`s not a judgement, but a balanced viewpoint of a conflict. The movie asks tough questions about violence, but never really judges or resolves or tells us what the answer should be. KUDOS to that. This movie forces one to think. The

Munich is the story of something I had almost forgotten. The movie adds the story behind the headlines mixed with cinematic art. The greatest test of any film is do we care about the main character. Do we believe that he is able to carry out his mission. Yes. He is an amateur at assasination and he finds himself being changed with each assignment. This is not James Bond this is avram the releuctant assassin. He does his job but he changes during the movie and it will take him a long time to find a normal life as the movie finishes. Even thought it is fiction based on fact the film hist hard. There is no glamour when you kill. The only o

I was very disappointed in this film. It added nothing for me to the debate about the cycle of violence in the middle east nor did it add to my knowledge of the operation itself. Would someone please try again?!!

3 stars - I thought it was okay...far to many dramatic pauses with the lead just staring in the distance....like King Kong it could have been much shorter and would have been better.
