i enjoyed the movie very much. odd retelling of the story, but that's okay. it was great visually. the predictability didn't bother me. i didn't want it to end.
haaa-ha! much better than expected. definitely a fun retelling of snow white her predicament with her nasty step-mother evil queen!!! plenty of contemporary nastiness of humanity portrayed with detailed humour. enjoyed being amused by the light comedy and antics that filled the story to give it enough depth for kids, yet enough chuckles for grown-ups. definitely not for 'teens-n-twenty-somethings'. lots of portrait worthy 'eye-candy' moments when looking at lily-c do her snow-w character, and she wasn't just a girly wimp but could kick ass... hehehe. worth the watch! a modern classic.
nice little movie. julia roberts great as an evil person. that's it-a rental.
what do people expect here? it's a children's movie. were people expecting grand drama? it is targeted for todays kids. the visuals were great and the costumes were elaborate. all in all a good movie.
a drab, ugly, poorly acted little film. i'm usually a fan of tarsem singh's visual style, but here he gives us nothing. too bad. 2 stars.
a delight!
what a piece of crap! i have never walked out on a movie but my hubby had to hold me down to stay for this one. not campy enough to be funny, not serious enough to be good. acting = awful story= nonexistent. movie= 1 star only because there are no zeros.
honestly, without the occasion gag provided by the dwarves, i would have bored enough to walk out. the story didn't grab you, the prince and snow white were horribly acted. ms. roberts and the costuming were the only real positives.
excellent! best movie of the year so far!
