I gave thia film 5 stars, for what it is: a rehersal of a performance that never happened. Rehersals lack the glitz and pizazz of a finished product. Nevertheless, this rehersal was amazing. I left the theatre feeling a sense of privilege and awe at being able to watch it. It would have been an azazing concert. I'm sorry that it wasn't to be but grateful for the opportunity to see it. RIP Michael Jackson. You were an awesome performer and humanitarian. I will remember you for those attributes as well as for your music.

One of the best Documentaries I have seen in a very long time. It's hard to believe they made this from only rehearsal footage. It is simply amazing. This would have been the Concert of the Century. Michael, you will be loved forever.

I had forgotten how much I liked his music!

This movie was UNVBELIEVABLE and if you are any type of a Michael Jackson fan you must go see it! I was either 'dancing' in my seat, singing along or crying - it made me so sad to realize it was 'over' in real time, but as mentioned his music lives on. I am hoping to purchase the dvd when it comes out!

Beautiful film. Some people are complaining that he wasn't going all out the entire time. You do realize this is REHEARSAL footage right? Maybe I'm just more realistic but I actually thought this movie was a lot better than I expected. We got to see Michael in his element, preparing for what was to be his final tour.

It a word -- brilliant! The film is not a finished cut of any song but you could see the creative genius at work with his collaboring with the director, dancers, musicians and singers. Everyone would have been at the top of their game and this show would have truly taken the concert experience to another level. I have a tremendous amount of respect for how Mr. Ortega treated Michael, with dignity, sensitivity and gentleness. We should all treat others like this because we belong to one race -- the human race. Although I'm sad that MJJ is no longer with us, he has left his stamp of magic on the world through his music, creativety, kindness and sensitivity to the planet and others. I n

Amateurishly filmed and the songs were extremely vapid. Glad I wasn't paying for this one!

Absolute genius. What a showman and the most beautiful and powerful voice I have heard. You must see this.

lOVE MICHEAL but, the film was missing something, didn't have much of micheal talking to the camera, nor did it have alot of micheal going all out dancing. i got bored part way through, found the remake of thrillier pretty good, and the effects were pretty outstanding it would have been a world best concert live in action, but this film show teh short side of what it could have been

We are so fortunate that there was some rehearsal footage taken. It allows us to have a brief glimpse into the creative genius that is MJ. We may have suspected, but now we know. The This Is It concerts would have been phenomenal and unmatched.... this proves it even if we only get to see some rehearsal footage. Plus, we get to see his humble and every courteous self. This Is It is MJ at his very best.
