I really enjoyed the movie with a dear friend. It made me laugh, it made me cry, and it tugged at my heart. Definitely one to add to my collection when it comes out on DVD. Would have loved to read the novel version but it doesn't exist in novel form. Great story. Makes me want to visit the 'wall'.

A typical boy meets girl chick flick, but I like chick flicks and found this movie sweet and charming. Although, by nature, it just isn't a blow your mind, five star, type movie.

A must see movie with Redgrave at her best.

Very sweet movie! Beautiful shots of Italy! I enjoyed watching it as it brought back memories of my time in Verona! The acting was also very well done, Amanda Seyfried was very convincing in her role as Sophie. The one criticism I would have would be the ending was a bit predictable, though with romantic movies they generally are. All in all a cute, unique story for a romance, would recommend it to anyone who enjoys a lighthearted movie about love, or for anyone whose been to Italy and would like to reminisce. Loved it and give it 4 stars!
