this was a really good movie.
interesting story and the acting is well done. very, very violent
lawless is a bootlegger movie set during the '30s, in which a trio of brothers refuse to cooperate with a corrupt lawman from chicago. mayhem ensues. the movie goes for a bonnie & clyde vibe and misses by a hair. still a lot of r-rated (for violence, nudity and language) fun.
really, really good! great performances!
great flick, action, humour, good storyline and acting
awesome movie, just the right amount of dark humour and fantastic storytelling. swear to god the audience laughed every time forrest opened his mouth, and he grunted 95% of the time.
i enjoyed the movie after i could overlook all the violence in it.
the story took a while to develop but once it did - what a ride! i was totally engrossed and at times "grossed out" but it was not irrelevant violence. a very clever and tender story.
