It's not as bad as people are saying here.It's not like the classic trilogy, but it's still a great popcorn action movie.Yes Lucas needs to get out of movies,but Harrison's performance saves the day.
4 stars - it had it's moments; and thrills. A good entertainment film for sure. Worth seeing on the big screen.
Since when do Aliens come into the equation of Indiana Jones? The movie takes place around the 1950's and part of the movie seems like the future. It was great plot and great action, but its not the same as the old ones like "Raiders of the Lost Ark." The Aliens just ruined it.

Great movie with a new style of storyline right for that time period (start of cold war) but with a good dose of ancient history true to the old trilogy.

This movie was very good; I am having a really hard time understanding why the "naysayers"/critics have been panning it so much. This movie belongs in the Indiana Jones saga and is *infinitely* better than Temple of Doom, and runs a close second to Raiders of the Lost Ark. I will see this movie again!
I thought the movie was slow. It only picked up at the end. It was alright. The whole alien was interesting and weird.

After 20 years this is the best that the minds of Spielberg and Lucas could come up with? I was hoping that they would acknowledge the years passing and that made Indy would have to struggle doing what he used to do. Perfect opportunity for a Fish Out of Water. But old Indy can still throw and take a punch, lots of them. Okay, you want to relive the past fine, but can’t you keep it at least a little real?
