I’m not sure what the people giving this a poor review were expecting from this franchise finale but coming off of the last outing (kingdom of the Crystal Skull) I was pleasantly surprised, no it’s not Raider’s of the Lost Ark or The Last Crusade, it’s not classic era Spielberg, nothing really is. That kind of movie magic is nearly impossible to recapture. But it comes much closer to that territory than what Crystal Skull was doing in 2008. Dial of Destiny gives Indy fans almost everything we could want from one last adventure, the search for a mysterious new artifact, exotic locales, classic tomb raiding misadventures and spectacular action set pieces set to a John Williams score, including a flashback with an impressively de-aged Harrison Ford fighting Nazis on a train during WW2. My only complaint is that it’s not Raider’s of the Last Ark, but let’s be realistic here, nothing ever will be again.
Crash and burn, Hollyweird. Nobody takes your anti-fanfics seriously anymore.
What a thrill to see this ending of my favorite movie series, finally. After a roller coaster of emotional whiplash of will it, won't it, date pushes, etc. it finally came and exceeded my expectations. From the way ot opened, to all the iconic moments from past films being revealed in their own unique way, and the ending that was completely unexpected, that movie delivered everything and then some. I've seen it three times, so far. And it's so much fun.
The movie was action packed and the actors were amazingly talented and kept their audience engaged and sitting on edge of my seat . It had some great action scenes and done humor . The set designs and costumes were really cool.
I wish we hadn’t gone. It will forever ruin my memories of the series. “IF” you are a true Indy fan, stay home and keep the good memories you have. What a shame !
Liked the fact that it brought back some nice memories. Harrison Ford still can play that part well Could use a little more action but overall loved the movie and I am 80 years old.
The flashback scenes were fun. Don’t think that “Wombat” can carry the franchise forward; just not as resourceful as the original Indy. Actually thought they could’ve cut 15-20 minutes on the Archimedes cave scenes. Those sort of dragged. The golf cart chase scenes were well done.
So ridiculous, corny and stupid. I fell asleep
They have turned Indiana Jones into an old bumbling fool and trying to replace him with one of the most annoying "actresses" there has ever been.
If you loved all the earlier Indiana Jones movies, you will love this one too!!
