The film starts strong but at the mid-point turns into "The Lord Of The Rings" as characters spend their time walking endlessly around the woods trying to destroy the "preciousssss....." locket. Still, at least the tree don't walk in this movie.

The movie was good with some great visuals and one sad death. There were some lengthy slow parts though where they were camping all over the place. I do think that part 2 will be much more action focused. The previews were also misleading because they show footage from part 2.
