Watching these two old-tough guys reliving their youth boxing years is just memorable. At the most unexpected moment, they will make you exploit into laughter. Even though we have already seen a couple of elderly doing crazy things in "The bucket list" (2007), Grudge Match moves towards another direction by bringing back the possibility of both, Rocky Balboa and De Niro himself, steping back into the ring and struggling with all the changes the sport has experience in the last decades but, at the same time, letting everybody know that its essence is still the same. A great movie to watch, immerse yourself, enjoy and laugh!
good movie . I enjoyed a lot . funny movie.
It was a fun movie, especially if you had the Rocky/Raging Bull context. Not Academy Award material, but you can easily take your (older) kids to it and have a good night at the movies without any gore.
De - Niro vs Stalllone Retired boxing rivals meet 30 years later for one last fight. The movie had a fist to the left and a fist to the right touch of nostalgia for Rocky fans. Brow wiping social media , punchbag love with Kim Basinger, and just enough rounds of comedy. Enjoyable movie. Thanks for the preview. Patricia
Very decent. You get what you expect, which is a Rocky remake with Deniro, which is perhaps one unique aspect of this movie is that there is no antagonist really, you care about both of the characters.
OK movie but I would not have paid to see it. I would have waited and probably rented it.
HILARIOUS movie!!! 5 stars
The legends didn't disappoint - Both De Niro and Stallone are great in the film. It was funny as well as touching. A great show for the whole family to enjoy together!
I thoguht the movie was very sweet, and funny; my 12 year old nephew really liked it he said it was a fun movie and he would tell his friends about it
Man Stallone is looking old. I thought the premise for this was horrible. Two of the greatest boxing films from back in the day reunited for a geriatric match? Rocky vs raging bull? I dunno! It wasn't AS horrible as I thought it would be. Was it a necessary movie to be made? No I don't think so. Deniro is better than that. Stallone is trying desperately to seem relevant. Would I recommend it to someone? Nah. If it were on tv on a Sunday afternoon would I let it okay while I did something else? Probably. In a more positive light my dad liked it - giving it his highest praise "That wasn't bad."
