GREAT
Way too much like 'Kill Bill'...and worse acting. But nice and gory for sure.
Solid, very intense, a good ol' fashioned tale of revenge.
GREAT GREAT movie!!!!!
GREAT
Overall the film was lacking in not only a believable plot line but moreover, it had no substance. The acting of Dwayne 'the rock' Johnson was above average but sadly the overall thematic qualities that this film aimed to posses were overshadowed by the comic-book like introduction of characters, the odd attempts of making the main character more or less likable and the unclear moral value. I think it could have been a lot more successful it there was an actual meaning to this story.
Let me just say--AWESOME GUY MOVIE!! 35 mins into the movie I turned to my wife and said; "Has the Rock only said 3 words so far??". I think he says 30 words ALL MOVIE. No BS plot twists or character development. Kinda like RAMBO--you messed with the wrong guy..For me its up there with some of the best all time guy movies. That said; it did have a few flaws that bugged me. Like if you were a Homicidal maniac, at large from the cops---would you try to go under the radar--or would you speed and burn rubber at every intersection?? The fact that he kept driving like a crazy guy even though there would be no one chasing him. It really took a lot away from the films reality. Even with that--Guys g
I liked this gritty movie with great visuals and sound effects.
Interesting to see The Rock breaking into movies the past number of years. He'll undoubtedly have a longer career than the likes of other sports/sports entertainment talent such as Randy Couture, Steve Austin, and John Cena ... should be interesting to see where he takes his career as Vin Diesel 2.0 ...
BEFORE I WAS GOING TO GO SEE THIS MOVIE, I WATCHED THE PREVIEW THAT LASTED 1 MIN, I SAW EVERYTHING, AND KNOW WHAT HAPPENS, WHY SPEND $ AND 1.5 HOURS TO WATCH IT AGAIN
