"Love" the movie - and would definitely see it again.....and recommend to my friends. because I had read the book I was happy with the flow....but did feel that someone who has not read the book would find the movie "choppy"... Richard (of Texas) Jenkins should receive best supporting actor nomination. I would be happy if Julia receives best actress nomination. Thank you very much !!
A movie with tremendous truth and charisma (thanks to the talented stars, intelligent script and beautiful cinematography), Eat Pray Love is a feast for the eyes, mind and heart. A movie unafraid to linger in the moment - it lets the viewer absorb the marvel of the surroundings and its richly drawn characters at a luxurious/honest pace. Eat Pray Love is that rare gem of a summer film that actually has something to say and it does so with such conviction that you may be inclined to pack your bags and go in search of yourself in some exotic foreign locale. Splendid cast; Excellent direction; Beautiful settings; Emotionally-galvanizing (yet pleasurable) script; It's a film-goers paradis
I really liked the movie. The scenery was beauiful and the story moved at a good pace. It was a nice entertaining movie where you did not have to think just enjoy.
Very good and a very interesting way of experiencing life.
Outstanding experience for both of us! The whole audience was exhilarated and clapping at the end. Julia Roberts is perfect for the lead - ALL the characters were just right. The script was right on to the letter, the scenery, breathtaking, and the 'grace' of the storytelling was so poignant and real. I'm going to see it again -- and perhaps again. It speaks to us all in so many ways and the right people are telling the story.
Finally, a film that truly lives up to it's novel. Sights, sounds and emotions, all positive and rejuvinating!
Superb!
warm and funny. usual great performances from all members of the cast
GREAT PERFORMANCE FROM JULIA ROBERTS
While I found the book a little too slow moving for my liking, I really liked the movie. The film split nicely between the four locations. It also gave enough background to Liz's journey, but not too much. It was nice to see Julia Roberts in a starring film again. I forgot how much I missed her. Would definitely see again!
