Very slow .
If you haven't read the book you will enjoy the movie. If you HAVE read the book you will still enjoy the movie but it comes nowhere near the quality of the book. Julia Roberts is fab as usual. Definitely worth seeing in theater or otherwise.
Good movie, the book was much better, movie doesnt show the book characters as deep so the movie is not as deep as the book.
LOVED this movie. It was done beautifully. I read the book prior to watching the movie, and the movie really brought to life Elizabeth's adventures, life experiences, and emotions. I think it captured all the life lessons that the book was meant to convey, which continuously gave me goosebumps and brought tears to my eyes. My only negative comment is that although Julia Roberts did an amazing job (because she is an amazing actress!), I would have preferred if a lesser known actress with the same acting abilities had been given the role. It would have allowed me to connect even more with the on-screen character had I not known anything about the actresses real life.
Very slow .
TOO MUCH DETAIL MISSING. ONCE YOU READ THE BOOK THEN YOU REALIZE THAT THE MOVIE IS JUST AN OVERVIEW.
Went with the Ladies......we loved the movie....a great escape for a couple of hours....what an adventure~I wish I could travel like that....loved the travel scenery....and I want to go there.
I loved this movie! It really touched a chord with me. Her journey to self discovery is amazing! I wish I could pick up and leave for a year! :)
There was a certain charm that was missing in this film. I'd save this for the rentals.
A surprisingly good chic flick full of heart warming moments the viewer can easily relate too. I loved the characters and the performances all round... Well worth seeing with your girlfriends!
